-Now the word of the Lord came unto him on a mission to Nineveh,
to do nothing but proclaim the word of the Lord unto the worldly city….
-Systematically and automatically a thought allegedly sought him….
-Daunted and haunted in the supremacy of fear, his ductility curvature him to Joppa, Jonah joined hands settling the fare for the conveyance unto Turshish, tactically escaping the presence of the Lord….
-Comfortably laying down the side of the ship surely combining the sleep, tempestuously the wind blew! Beating the ship to and fro almost breaking it, thereby bringing about discomfort confronting him of the presence of the Lord in the wind as it winds from the northern to the southern hemisphere and vice versa….
-‘At the drop of the hat’ he told his colleagues to cast him forth into the sea peradventure he might escape the presence of the Lord….
-Forgetting that the Lord turns a rock into a super standing water fount,
a flint into a fabulous fountain flowing like a falls, forcing the debris to fall
down the slope with respect to gravity, as it slowly incorporates into the
sweet and calm waters of the ceaselessly flowing sea….
-Jumping into the sea, he saw the presence of the Lord in form of a big
fish, finally he was swallowed three days and three nights in the belly of a baffling mammoth animal….
-‘Quaking in his boots’ yet clever in his endeavor Jonah never ‘turned a
deaf ear’ to the voice of the Lord, therefore he asked for forgiveness from Jehovah, as a result the predator was predestined to provide him free,
safe, quick and swift ride to Nineveh, the very place he was running
away from turns out to be the very place he was running to….
-Just as the psalmist encodes in the masterpiece of his psalms as I
decode, “Where can I go from thy Spirit? Where shall I flee from thy

-Your hand leads me even in the valley of shadow of death, if I say surely darkness shall cover me, even the night shall be light about me for thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.….
-Indeed we can go nowhere from thy presence for you are the captain of my ship, sailing me to places of light and righteousness where no
ship-wrecker can wreck it, for no one can pluck me from your mighty hand….
